What's for Dinner?

Devon made us this beautiful dish for dinner tonight: Pork Stuffed with Ricotta Cheese, Spinach and Oyster Mushrooms with a Mustard Cream Sauce. The side dishes were sauteed baby carrots and herb roasted fingerling potatoes. He made it up himself! Don't bother asking for the recipe, he doesn't have one! You'll just have to join us for dinner some night to try it.

A Castle for a Princess

Mady has been requesting a princess castle lately. We saw on an episode of Caillou where they built one out of boxes. So Devon built this elaborate one out of some of the boxes in our garage.

I would say it's fit for Princess Mady, don't you?

Adventures in Chicago: Lesson #3: Don't Lock Your Keys in the Car!

So by this point, you're probably wondering where Tish is during all this. She originally was supposed to take a later flight around 7pm from Omaha to Chicago because she had to work during the day. Around 6pm, I received a call from her saying she was lost and couldn't find her way to the airport. Obviously she was running a bit late as well and was worried about missing her flight.

Poor Tish. She has bad luck! She made it to the airport and parked and then somehow locked her keys in her car! Devon to the rescue - he drove to the airport, got her keys out and car unlocked and helped her work with the ticket counter to get her on standby for an early morning flight Saturday.

I hope it is something that she can now laugh about. But it sure wasn't funny at the time!

Snoring

Last night, Devon went out with Brad partying. Today he’s tired of course. He fell asleep in the chair while Mady and I were playing. He snored. Mady looked at me and said, “Going *snort*” and she really snorted there.

Guess it’s funnier if you could hear it but I thought it was the cutest thing!
