Today, I woke up before Mady did. I stole a few moments just to watch her sleep. After a couple of minutes, she must have sensed that I was awake. She opened her bright eyes and looked at me. She leaned forward just a bit towards me and said, "Boo!"
It's a great day when you start it off with a laugh!

Happy 4th of July
We are having an exciting 4th of July day here in Omaha. Mady rode her trike this morning. She is starting to learn how to pedal! Then we went to the backyard and drew with chalk on the concrete patio area. We also played with bubbles.
Then while I was making pasta salad, Mady turned around from her cute pink chair and had a black face! She had drawn all over her face with a black crayon. Luckily, crayon is easy to clean up.
Later we will be going to a fireworks show.
